Saul Marantz is the legend behind the Marantz audio brand. He was a true pioneer of Hi-Fi. In 1950, Saul felt that music systems meeting his exacting standards did not exist. With his electrical engineering background he built his concept - the Audio Consolette , a Hi-Fi preamp.
A few years later, in 1953, Saul's passion became a business, and the Marantz Audio Company was born from his home in New York.
The Marantz spirit lives on today, covering most of the planet!
